CONTEXT

CONTEXT

Traditional social-skills interventions can feel clinical, rigid, or disconnected from what kids actually enjoy. Critical Core uses immersive role-playing to teach empathy, teamwork, and problem-solving in a fun, engaging, and safe environment. By combining structured mechanics with flexible storytelling, it meets children where they are, turning therapy into play.

MY ROLE

I developed the game’s look and feel, collaborating with renowned artists to create character designs and illustrations. I oversaw every visual element — from the box design to parent guides, modules, and character cards—ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience that supports learning and sparks imagination. I also created multi-channel assets to support the campaign, including social media content and the website build.
