With AI increasingly shaping creative practices, artists often wonder how it can enhance rather than replace traditional methods. We collaborated with James to explore this balance, introducing him to AI tools he hadn’t used before. Leonardo.Ai allowed him to quickly generate and randomize elements, which he then refined by hand, preserving the integrity of his craft while demonstrating technology as a creative partner.

As the Creative lead, I guided the integration of AI tools into the creative workflow, ensuring that the final mural authentically reflected James’s style while highlighting Google Cloud’s AI capabilities. I also helped translate the process into visual storytelling for audiences online and in public spaces.
